Did you know there are isolated
communities in Northern Ontario
where dogs run wild. They are not
loved or cared for, most freeze or
starve to death during their first
year, many are tortured and if they
become a nuisance, they are shot.
The cold weather is upon us and many
of these young puppies are marked
for certain death. With your
help, the dogs seen below have been
rescued.

"The mom
and Puppies my daughter and her friends
found in the woods in the snow storm
that we had. They are in my kitchen
at this time so that they do not freeze.
We have had many dogs in and out of
my apartment at one time or another.
The black dog is a puppy she is going
to be a large dog she is about 4 mths
old and very kind. The puppy on the
sofa is about 2 mths old she is part
husky very frisky. The mom of the puppies
has had 9 lives. She was hit by a car
in the summer and I nursed her back
although everyone thought that I was
wasting my time and she should be shot.
My 6 year old daughter hid her in our
house when the community had a dog day
which is when the dog population is
too high the dogs are shot. So she has
been a very lucky lady she is also a
friendly dog." Shannon

Blue has found a home!
| Blue is a stunning four month male Siberian Husky/Akita, all shots are up to date. He is playful and happy, not "the alpha dog" and is excellent with well behaved children. His housebreaking is coming along nicely but due to his young age, he will have the occasional accident if you are not diligent. We will let Blue go to a loving home for $200.00.
